I got myself some new books to read ♥

I went to a thrift shop yesterday and found these books for a very nice price.
Normally I prefer to read all of my books in english, but I couldn’t resist of getting these books in Dutch since they were so cheap. The “Silence of the lambs” book was only €0,50!!! And I’m a big Phantom of the opera fan, so I’m happy to finally have the book ♥ I recently watched the movie “The woman in black”, and I quite liked it, so I was also happy to came across the book at the thrift shop as well. I bought two other books as well, though they are not pictured here. I bought 7 books and only payed €9,50 for everything!

It looks like I have enough book material for quite some time (and I still had some books I needed to read). I’m addicted to buy books, new or old ♥ I really want to read more often. I used to read alot, but lately I haven’t gotten around to read and actually finish a book (I still have to finish “The picture of Dorian Gray”). I have a ‘bad’ habit of reading multiple books at the same time, because I’m also reading a Indonesian ‘fairytale’ book that I almost finished, and I never finished “The casual vacancy” from J.K. Rowling (I don’t find it that interesting as I was hoping it would be, so I probably will never finish that one).

What do you find of these books? Have you read one of them? If so, did you liked it?

Oh, the Silence of the Lambs! I would love to read the book one day too. Thriftstore books are awesome; they are cheap, yet still often in a very good state!
I also picked up the Phantom of the Opera from a thriftstore a year ago or something (in Dutch). But I still haven’t started reading it. XD I have a habit of still buying books while I don’t read much anymore these days. I should really pick it up again!

Yes, these are also still in a good state, and the phantom of the opera book was still in it’s plastic package! Haha, that’s a familiar habit! I’m sure the phantom of the opera book is good, let’s try to read it soon!

I loved the movie from Silence of the lambs, so the book will not dissapoint. Though I had to laugh at the Dutch translation of the title, it sounds silly in Dutch :p

A lot of books sound silly in Dutch. :p Phantom of the Opera: Spook van de Opera. In Dutch it just doesn’t have the same magic. Though I still prefer to read books in Dutch. Although I can read English quite well, Dutch still is easier for me.

Haha true! They sound silly in Dutch. But I understand, sometimes it’s just easier to read books in Dutch. Though I prefer to read books in English (but sometimes it can be a bit difficult to read, for example; Shakespeare)
